The Christmas holidays might be over but that doesn’t mean you don’t deserve a break for recover from all the festivities… why not start the year with a tranquil cruise along the river to recharge your batteries and start the year as you mean to go on. For January and February 2016 CanalAbility is offering a 50% discount on holidays and day trips on it’s specially adapted canal boats. You can book for a day or up to two weeks and provided your trip starts in January or February you will only pay half the advertised price.
A river cruise through the beautiful Essex and Hertfordshire countryside could be just the ticket for a new year pick me up for you, your family, or your disability/community group… so book now and take some time out to sit back, relax and put your feet up. However, if you do still have some excess energy you can get involved in the steering of the boat or changing the locks. The kids will love it.
Day trips are fully crewed by qualified volunteers, at no extra cost, so you can just take it easy. If you choose a holiday option (i.e. one involving an overnight stay) you will be fully trained to make the most of your hard earned break. All our boats have full central heating so you will wake up in cosy comfort and enjoy a sunrise you won’t forget.
All our boats are accessible to wheelchair users or people with impaired mobility. They are also steerable by wheelchair users using our remote control system.
Day trips start from around £5 per person (assumes 12 people in party – maximum), for a relaxing 4 hour cruise.
