HE DID IT!! Sprinter John has successfully completed his incredible run, covering an impressive distance of 80.21 miles and raising an incredible £800.51 for CanalAbility!!!!!

Here’s a little background to his challenge:
This June, our volunteer ‘Skipper Sprinter’ John, set out to a complete a challenging running route. He aimed to cover a total distance of 50 miles, the equivalent of running the entire length of the River Stort (+1 mile of the River Lee) each way. Not only did he achieve his initial goal of 50 miles but has also surpassed it by running a total of 80.21 miles!
As a charity, CanalAbility operates without any financial support from the Government. We are solely dependent on revenues generated through hire fees, donations, sponsorships and fundraising events (such as this one) to sustain and deliver our valuable services. Thanks to supporters and volunteers like John, CanalAbility can continue to make boating accessible for all.
