Our Adapted Canal Boats

Stort Daybreak

Stort Daybreak is available exclusively for day hire and will accommodate 12 passengers on a day trip. She is so spacious that this number may include 6 wheelchair users.

She has a disability access toilet, with changing bench, shower, hoist and adjustable height washbasin. There is also a wheelchair accessible galley.

Stort Challenger

Stort Challenger is used exclusively for day hire and will accommodate up to 10 people. The boat has full wheelchair access including the galley.

She has diesel central heating, a disability wet-room, separate toilet, and fully equipped all electric galley. She also has a day bed with hoist and is equipped with ramps and lifts to ensure full participation by wheelchair users.

Each boat has a ramps & lifts to enable access via wheelchair and for people with impaired mobility, disabled toilet facilities and other adaptive technology to allow everyone to take an active part in its operation.
